I always admire Rodin. Have seen many of his originals in France but I never had satisfaction to see his works which I have never seen it. I have not seen this work original because I have not been to Hirshhorn. I must visit one day soon.

Biata de ea, a îmbătrânit.
Trupul ei s-a uscat si ofilit
de timpuriu, dar ea
nu se plange, niciodată.
In pieptul ei, vlăguit
se aude inima vorbind:
va iubesc si va înconjor
dragii mamei, puișori!

burdened by worries

Poor thing, is elder.
Her body was dry and withered
of early, but she
not complain, ever.
In her exhausted chest

Opera sculpturala a lui Rodin, denumita impropriu, Beautiful Wife este o lucrare artistica de o frumusete rara, prin surprinderea celor mai mici detalii,ale femeii sacrificate pe altarul familiei si societatii, dar numai atât.
In realitate, sculptura reprezinta o femeie urâta 'fizic', cu un corp uzat, din care viata i-a furat toata frumusetea feminina,
folosindu-se de vulnerabilatate femeii din acea prioada.
In fine, nu femeia din sculptura este frumoasa, ci uratenia ei, redată cu acuratețea umană artistică, specifica marelui si unicului, Auguste Rodin.

Sculptural Opera of Rodin's called improper, Beautiful Wife, is an artistic work of rare beauty by capturing the smallest details of woman slaughtered on the altar the family and society, but just that.
In fact, the sculpture represents a woman ugly 'physical' with a body worn, from that life stoled all female beauty,
using, of vulnerabilatate the woman from the prioada.
Finally, not woman from sculpture is beautiful, but her ugliness, rendered with human accuracy artistic specify the great and unique, Auguste Rodin .
